It might be time for a website change

It might be the time to redesign this website. I’m thinking of making the entire site in go lang, even the javascript stuff. It might be an interesting project to play with.

Hope you are all healthy and working.

As per all my post, here is something profound:

Odd numbered days

Today I’m describing some thoughts that had been prickling away at me the past month or so. I’m expressing it in the form of a few quotes.

Beautiful things don’t ask for attention.

Goodness is the only investment that never fails.

Henry David Thoreau

You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching,
Love like you’ll never be hurt,
Sing like there’s nobody listening,
And live like it’s heaven on earth.

Also seeing what’s going on with SpaceX and our current technology, I found this quote at the right time.

Dan Quayle

You can never plan the future by the past.

Edmund Burke

You have to dream before your dreams can come true.

A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

Ralph Waldo Emerson

In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.

John Muir

You may not see the pattern, that’s OK. I’ll leave you with a few more.

Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do and they will surprise you with their ingenuity.

George S. Patton

It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.

Henry David Thoreau

It’s not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.

Epictetus

They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.

Tom Bodett

The great question that has never been answered, and which I have not yet been able to answer, despite my thirty years of research into the feminine soul, is ‘What does a woman want?’

Sigmund Freud

I hope these quotes gets you thinking.

Thanks for reading.

Looking back, thinking forward

Looking back at the past year I noticed that time is moving faster. It’s a relative feeling, faster each year. Is it because we are busy or because we are too engaged in the worlds media and noise.

As an individual it’s up to you to decide what noise to let in and what to use constructively. I’ve learned that it’s good to let things go and only cling to good principles and not to things.

Lets make this year go slower and better by applying the Law of Attraction. I’m starting this year by throwing away the idea that the last few years went by to fast. A good start is a believe in a good start.

Here are a few good quotes for the year

I never see what has been done; I only see what remains to be done.

Buddha

The trouble is, you think you have time.

Buddha

Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.

Buddha

There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting.

Buddha

Time is a storm in which we are all lost.

William Carlos Williams

A man who dares to waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of life.

Charles Darwin

People often complain about lack of time when lack of direction is the real problem.

Zig Ziglar
